Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) / perioperative nursing experience
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Experience in one or more specialties preferred: Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric OR
• Strong communication, teamwork, and sterile technique skills

Key Responsibilities (Operating Room Nurse / Perioperative Nurse)

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams during operations as an OR RN
• Monitor patient status, safety, and aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain the OR environment, equipment, and surgical supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation, perioperative records, and handoffs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality surgical patient care
