- Setting: Shapiro 7 BMT Clinic — Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies
- Contract Dates: 6/22/2026 – 9/19/2026 (13-week travel contract)
- Float Required: No
- Candidate Requirement: Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
- Employer Restriction: No prior employment at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the past year
Required Qualifications — Hematology/Oncology RN
- Minimum 2 years recent hematology/oncology RN experience (hematology nurse, oncology nurse, BMT experience preferred)
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission (Massachusetts RN jobs / Boston healthcare jobs)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Proven experience coordinating care for hematology and oncology patients in outpatient clinic or infusion setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities — Oncology Nurse Coordinator
- Coordinate patient care across the hematology and oncology clinic, including scheduling, follow-up, and referrals
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy per protocols and safety standards (ONS standards, chemo/infusion best practices)
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and symptom management for hematology patients
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, side effect management, and outpatient care instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and chemotherapy/immunotherapy documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive cancer care
