- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,930 – $3,090
- Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501 — Virginia travel nursing opportunity
- Setting: Operating Room (CVOR) – Cardiac / Cardiovascular surgery
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 26, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (6:30am – 3:00pm); weekday and weekend call required
- Hours per Week: 40
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel CVOR RN, Travel Nursing Job)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience supporting cardiac and vascular procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license (acceptable for Lynchburg, VA)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Clinical ability to first scrub in CVOR/cardiac surgery procedures
- Cerner EMR experience preferred (documentation skills in perioperative charting)
- All requested time off must be submitted with application
Responsibilities
- Serve as first scrub RN for cardiovascular and cardiac surgery cases
- Provide perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to CVOR safety and infection-control protocols
- Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations as required
- Accurately document patient information and surgical details in Cerner EMR
