Job Details – CVOR RN Travel Assignment

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 27, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (06:45 AM – 05:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
• Location: Leading academic medical center – University Circle, Cleveland, OH 44106
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at an academic Level 1 trauma center

Required Qualifications – CVOR RN / Cardiac Surgical Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience; CVOR experience required
• Experience participating in heart and lung transplant procedures
• Ability to scrub is a plus (scrub nurse experience preferred)
• Willingness to take call as needed
• Completion of required onboarding documentation per facility requirements

Responsibilities – Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgical Nursing

• Assist in cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including heart and lung transplants
• Provide perioperative care in the CVOR setting as a circulator and/or scrub nurse
• Maintain strict sterile technique and OR safety protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia) to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation and be prepared for emergent cases
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment with excellent communication skills
