• Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44106) — Cleveland healthcare & Ohio travel jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 27, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (11:00 AM – 7:45 PM, Monday–Friday)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Call: 2 weekend call shifts per contract
• Employment Type: Travel Operating Room Tech / Travel Surgical Technologist
• Facility: State-of-the-art hospital with two operating departments — 26-room main OR and a 7-room inpatient/outpatient unit (primary base: 7-room unit)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Certified Surgical Technician credential required
• Minimum 1 year recent operating room (OR) tech or surgical technologist experience
• Experience with da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted procedures is required (robotic surgery experience)
• Ability to scrub posterior eye and manage eye trauma cases is a plus
• Strong perioperative skills: sterile technique, instrument handling, case setup
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Ohio Fingerprints, Education & Employment Verification, Skills Checklist, Competency Exam, Core Competencies, Driver's License/State ID, Badge Photo, Criminal Background Check, OIG Search, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC, Drug Screen, Module Completion Certificate

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub in surgical procedures across multiple specialties: General, Colorectal, Gyn, Urology, Breast, Ophthalmology (eye), Brachy Therapy, Plastics, Uro-Gyn, and Robotics
• Prepare OR and instruments, ensure sterile field and patient safety for each case
• Provide robotic-assisted surgery support (da Vinci Xi) including setup, instrument exchange, and troubleshooting within scope
• Float to the main OR as needed while staying within your competency and skill set
• Support surgical teams in both inpatient and outpatient perioperative settings
• Participate in scheduled weekend call shifts as required by the contract
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, credentialing, and continuing competency standards
