Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
• Location: Beachwood, OH 44122 (Cleveland area) — Ohio surgical tech jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 27, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (5 shifts per week), rotating between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: Required
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract

Job Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Technician credential required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an OR Tech / Surgical Technologist role
• Ability to rotate shifts and respond to call as needed
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Fit Test, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Physical/Health Statement, etc.)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Completion of skills checklist and competency exam
• Experience with perioperative workflow, sterile technique, and instrument handling

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and perioperative nurses during operative procedures in the main OR
• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
• Support multiple specialties including general OR, CVOR, and First Assist teams
• Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are followed
• Participate in rotating shifts and respond to call requirements
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes and OR efficiency
