• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (competitive weekly pay)

• Position Type: Travel Nursing / Contract — ICU RN, Critical Care
• Setting: Critical Care – ICU (2nd Floor), 17-bed unit
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 6/22/2026, End: 9/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Night Shifts — Night Shift ICU Nurse
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience required — critical care RN experience preferred
• Active RN license in Wisconsin required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CRRT (NxStage) experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred — EPIC/EMR documentation
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• NIHSS certification preferred (stroke care experience valued)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a 17-bed ICU — scope includes medical, surgical, cardiac/vascular, and stroke patients
• Perform ventilator and mechanical ventilation management, tracheostomy care, and post-surgical recovery monitoring
• Manage invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring: arterial lines (A-line), CVP, Swan-Ganz when applicable
• Care for chest tubes, drains, and participate in complex critical care procedures
• Use bedside telemetry monitoring and participate in bedside rounds with intensivists and the multidisciplinary care team
• Float to intermediate units, MSU, ED boarding, and observation units as needed — flexible critical care support
• Collaborate with charge nurses, ICU pharmacists, respiratory therapists, clinical educators, and other allied health staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC and uphold hospital standards for charting and compliance
