- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
- Location: Midland, TX (79701) — West Texas healthcare job
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 22, 2026 – September 21, 2026)
- Shift Options: Day shifts – 4x10-hour (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM) or 5x8-hour (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirement: 1 weekday per week and every 4th weekend (Friday–Monday AM)
- Unit: Nuclear Medicine (7046)

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Tech
- Active Texas Medical Board (TMB) license & ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required; pending license accepted with submission but must be active before start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- NMTCB certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record/charting preferred
- Ability to start and maintain IVs and draw venous blood
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- On-site drug screen required prior to start
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including PET/PET-CT, cardiac imaging, bone scans, thyroid studies and other diagnostic exams
- Prepare, handle, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and radioactive materials in compliance with safety protocols and state regulations
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging procedures; draw venous blood as indicated
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment (Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba)
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation in Cerner or other EMR systems
- Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as scheduled for this travel assignment
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to isolation precautions, radiation safety, and PPE protocols to protect patients and staff
