Hospital Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Night Shift Travel Contract in Columbus, Ohio (43213). Join our hospital pharmacy team supporting inpatient, outpatient, rehab, long-term care (LTC), and lab services while delivering safe medication dispensing and clinical pharmacy support.

Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010 – $1,090
Location: Columbus, Ohio – Zip 43213 (Columbus pharmacy jobs / Ohio travel pharmacy jobs)
Setting: Hospital Pharmacy – inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 14, 2026 – September 12, 2026)
Shift: 10-hour nights, Monday–Thursday (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – active certification required
Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or healthcare setting (inpatient pharmacy experience preferred)
Experience with medication dispensing, inventory management, and medication reconciliation
Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy and adapt to varied clinical workflows
Must complete onboarding requirements: health screenings, background check, competency testing, and facility-specific training

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient and outpatient needs
Maintain accurate medication records, perform inventory management, and restock automated dispensing cabinets
Support medication reconciliation and ensure timely medication delivery throughout the hospital
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and pharmacy policies to promote patient safety
Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical pharmacy services
Participate in specialty pharmacy operations, including retail, rehab, long-term care (LTC), and lab support
