Travel Operating Room RN opportunity in Boston, MA 02215 — 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma Center. Seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse / Surgical RN for 12-hour night shifts. Weekly estimated pay: $2,700 - $2,840. - Location: Boston, MA 02215 — Boston healthcare, medical excellence, and diverse neighborhoods
- Facility / Setting: Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery — West Main OR (10 operating rooms)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 6/22/2026 — End: 9/19/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / OR RN)
- Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, barring holidays)

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience — perioperative nursing experience in transplant, trauma, and neuro required
- Experience with kidney transplant, neuro, spine, ortho trauma, and robotics procedures — strong background as a perioperative or surgical RN
- Ability to scrub and/or circulate for general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (head & neck), GYN, Urology, trauma, and organ procurement
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
- BLS certification required
- No local travelers: must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Previous employees: must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months if previously employed as perm or per diem
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for a diverse surgical patient population in a Level I Trauma Center
- Scrub and/or circulate across multiple specialties including trauma, transplant, neuro, spine, robotics, ENT, GYN, and more
- Maintain strict adherence to surgical safety, sterile technique, infection control, and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient OR flow
- Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development as a perioperative nurse
- Eligible to work holidays during contract; no on-call requirements for night shift
