Travel ER Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Columbus, OH (43210). 13-week travel nurse assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, stroke- and STEMI-certified facility. Join a fast-paced emergency department (ED) team providing critical care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in Columbus, Ohio.

- Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse / Emergency Department RN (ER RN)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
- Location: Columbus, Ohio – Zip 43210 (Ohio State University area)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: July 13, 2026 – End: October 12, 2026)
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Setting: Level I Trauma Emergency Department; stroke-certified; STEMI-certified
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Job Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN (first-time travelers accepted)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred (Level I Trauma experience a plus)
- Valid Ohio RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
- Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
- Experience working in stroke-certified and STEMI-certified facilities preferred
- Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma care, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care
- Willingness/ability to float to other units as needed
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a Level I Trauma ED
- Perform triage, assess acuity, and interpret dysrhythmias to initiate timely interventions
- Administer emergency medications and manage procedural sedation and ventilated patients
- Provide trauma care and manage psych holds in a fast-paced ED environment
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic medical records
- Use Pyxis medication management system for safe medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and language interpretation services
- Work scheduled weekends as required (every other or every third weekend)
