Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 14, 2026 – September 12, 2026)
• Setting: Surgical Oncology / Cardiac Stepdown – 30-bed telemetry unit
• Shifts: Rotating day/night; 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Cleveland healthcare jobs, Ohio nursing jobs)
• Positions Available: 3 Travel RN openings

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Ohio (required)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience with surgical patients and stepdown care (surgical oncology, telemetry)
• Required experience managing tracheostomies
• Telemetry experience preferred (telemetry nurse / step-down nurse)
• Comfortable with patient ratios: 1:4–1:5 days, 1:6 nights
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical oncology and stepdown patients in a telemetry setting
• Monitor and assess cardiac and post-surgical patients using telemetry
• Manage tracheostomy care and post-operative nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures
