- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 28, 2026)
- Shift: Nights — 3x12-hour (18:00 – 06:30), every 3rd weekend, holidays as assigned
- Call: 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
- Setting: Hospital MRI Unit with 2 Siemens Aera 1.5T scanners — experience with Siemens MRI required
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Travel Requirement: Traveler's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from Columbus, OH 43215
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (will consider 1.5 years with strong Level I / large hospital background)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI scanners (Siemens Aera 1.5T highly preferred)
- IV start experience strongly preferred — IV contrast administration experience a plus
- Cardiac MRI experience is a major plus for this hospital MRI position
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred — accurate electronic documentation skills required
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of MRI exams including neuro, MSK, abdominal, breast, enterography, and pacemaker protocols
- Operate Siemens Aera 1.5T MRI scanners and MRI-safe equipment following safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams (IV nurses, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response)
- Regularly scan ICU patients; no conscious sedation required for this position
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Epic EMR
- Participate in scheduled call coverage and adhere to hospital policies for patient safety and quality care
