Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $805 - $895
• Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – NICU nurse / neonatal nurse role
• Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (Staten Island healthcare / New York nursing jobs)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Shifts per Week: 1
• Duration: 52 weeks
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Minimum Commitment: Must work at least 2 shifts per month to remain active

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required (NICU RN / neonatal nurse experience)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced NICU environment
• Preferred: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill neonates as an experienced NICU nurse
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to coordinate neonatal care
• Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay, delivering family-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and ensure compliance with NY state nursing standards
