- Weekly Estimated Pay: $805 - $895
- Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – NICU nurse / neonatal nurse role
- Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (Staten Island healthcare / New York nursing jobs)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Shifts per Week: 1
- Duration: 52 weeks
- Employment Type: Local, On-Site
- Start Date: July 6, 2026
- Minimum Commitment: Must work at least 2 shifts per month to remain active
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required (NICU RN / neonatal nurse experience)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced NICU environment
- Preferred: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill neonates as an experienced NICU nurse
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to coordinate neonatal care
- Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay, delivering family-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and ensure compliance with NY state nursing standards
