Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility, as applicable
• Experience in maternal health, obstetric nursing, and newborn patient care
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, team-oriented labor and delivery environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and patient advocacy skills
• Current certifications as required by the facility and state regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Labor & Delivery nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and communicate changes promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical protocols
• Educate patients and families on the labor process, pain management options, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Help maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered maternity care environment
