• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month based on department needs

• RTO Policy: No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted
• Scheduling Notes: Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not permitted
• Work Setting: On-site

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Previous travel nursing assignment experience required, including completion of at least one contract assignment
• BSN required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Pending certifications are not accepted, and certifications expiring within 30 days of submission will not be accepted
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care setting preferred
• Candidates must complete the full required orientation and onboarding as scheduled; assigned modules must be completed by Monday or the candidate will be removed from the orientation list. Once orientation classes are scheduled, they cannot be rescheduled, and failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted for this assignment
• Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, skilled nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions in the emergency department
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and intervention in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in accordance with clinical standards
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within required systems
• Support patient and family education throughout the emergency care experience
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, safety standards, and orientation requirements
• Participate in weekend scheduling based on department needs
• Adhere to assignment scheduling guidelines, including RTO limits and standard scheduling practices
