PACU | Registered Nurse

As a PACU RN, you'll be the cornerstone of postoperative patient care, ensuring smooth recoveries and swift, safe discharges. With a dynamic schedule including day and night shifts, this position promises variety and challenge, supported by a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in healthcare.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- At least 1 year of travel PACU experience
- Prior experience in an academic medical center
- Valid RN license and certification in PACU nursing (RN PACU)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or perioperative nursing
- Experience with postoperative pain management
- Fluency in multiple languages or cultural competence
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Extensive PACU experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Other Requirements:
- Current licensure verification and background checks
- Successful completion of required health screenings and assessments
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced hospital setting
