Travel Nurse RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2360-$2480
• Location: Camden, New Jersey 08103
• Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services
• Start Date: 7/28/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• On-Call: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekends as needed

Operating Room RN Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room RN experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required
• Active New Jersey RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Scrub and circulate experience in the Operating Room required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on patient safety, sterile technique, and quality monitoring
• Excellent organizational skills for coordinating care across the Operating Room and perioperative team
• Flexibility to meet department scheduling needs required

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical process
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Support surgical teams in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma environment
• Maintain a safe and efficient Operating Room setting through close attention to sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Coordinate care effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical suites for procedures
• Document patient care accurately and communicate patient status clearly throughout the perioperative process
• Participate in on-call and occasional weekend coverage as needed
