Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) on-site contract opportunity in Harrison Township, New Jersey. This 13-week contract is ideal for a confident RN with recent Emergency Department experience, strong Epic EHR proficiency, a BSN, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey (South Jersey, near Philadelphia)
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ED)
• Start Date: 8/10/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: Saturday/Sunday 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week listed; schedule notes Saturday/Sunday 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (24 hours) or manager may assign 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other or 3 per month depending on needs

Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• At least one completed travel nursing or contract RN assignment required
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting preferred
• Epic EHR experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the appropriate care team members
• Document all care accurately and efficiently in Epic EHR
• Complete required orientation and onboarding activities
• Maintain required documentation and compliance items for assignment readiness
