Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility required
• Current and active New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) required
• Ability and willingness to float to like units as needed

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in EPIC
• Support safe patient transitions, education, and discharge planning
• Float to like units as needed
