Emergency Room RN Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• At least 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience required
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity, symptoms, and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support timely treatment and patient stabilization
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform emergency nursing interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with emergency department standards
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care setting
