Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at submission
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Experience providing safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care in a high-acuity setting

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean births, and emergency obstetric situations as needed
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses to care
