Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby
• Start Date: 8/10/2026
• Contract Length: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Patient Care Model: AWHONN staffing guidelines, including 1:1 and 1:2 labor assignments and 1:3 couplets
• Unit Highlights: 20 patient rooms used as LDR and mother-baby couplet rooms, 2 OB ORs for circulating C-sections, and 3 OB ED rooms

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Mother-Baby nursing experience preferred
• Postpartum couplet care experience strongly preferred
• Current New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• Epic EHR experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• ACLS certification required
• All required licenses and certifications must be active at submission

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby assignments
• Monitor and support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with AWHONN staffing and safety guidelines
• Circulate for cesarean sections in OB operating rooms as needed
• Assess maternal and newborn status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Complete orientation, virtual onboarding, and unit-based training as scheduled
