Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Level III NICU Job in Pennington, New Jersey

Experienced NICU Registered Nurse needed for an 8-week travel nursing contract in Pennington, New Jersey. Join a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide high-quality neonatal care in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
• Location: Pennington, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Start Date: 7/27/2026
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• EMR: Cerner

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience strongly preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced neonatal intensive care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols
• Support families with compassionate communication and education regarding neonatal care
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the Cerner EMR system
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and unit policies at all times
