Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: 8/10/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month, based on department needs
• Holiday Requirement: None

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• BSN required
• Previous travel nurse contract experience required, including completion of at least one contract assignment
• High-volume, fast-paced emergency care experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active at time of submission
• Ability to complete all orientation and onboarding requirements as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and skilled nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician and care team orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support efficient, high-quality emergency care delivery
• Respond effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment while prioritizing patient safety and clinical accuracy
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
• Support patient and family education related to treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Participate in required orientation, virtual onboarding, in-person classes, and unit-based training
