Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU or closely related neonatal nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Ability to work day/night rotation and meet scheduling requirements
- Comfortable working in a high-acuity neonatal care environment
- Ability to support flexible patient care needs, including possible assignment to PICU support or 1:1 observation
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to NICU patients requiring specialized attention
- Monitor neonatal patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to support optimal outcomes
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to unit standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety practices
- Adapt to unit needs, including possible support in PICU or 1:1 coverage assignments
