Seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week contract nursing job in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2000-$2100
• Location: Plainsboro Township, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: 8/4/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Shift Notes: Mid shift schedule, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, every other weekend
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Holiday Requirement: One winter and one summer holiday required

Job Requirements

• Experience caring for all patient populations, including pediatric patients
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at submission
• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Flu vaccine required
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Ability to accommodate limited requested time off

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and pediatric patient populations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly
• Respond effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining patient safety and professionalism
• Support weekend and holiday coverage as needed by the department
