Experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a 13-week contract in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This part-time, on-site perioperative nursing role is ideal for a clinically strong RN with pre-op, post-op, and PACU experience caring for both pediatric and adult surgical patients. • Shift: Wednesday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; potential coverage shift on Monday-Tuesday as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience in Pre-Op, Post-Op, and/or PACU settings
• Recent experience with both pediatric and adult patient populations required
• Experience with ENT, podiatry, breast reconstruction, and GYN procedures required
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license required upon submission
• BSN required
• BLS certification required upon submission
• ACLS certification required upon submission

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU phases of recovery
• Monitor patient status closely during recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Support safe patient transitions through the perioperative continuum of care
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to both pediatric and adult surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote efficient workflow and positive patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and documentation requirements
