Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Contract in Philadelphia, PA

Experienced OR Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2360-$2480

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Weekend days, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS required
• Trauma certification required; TNCC accepted
• Recent experience in both scrub and circulate roles required
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Strong experience in vascular, orthopedic, podiatry, neuro, trauma, general, and urology cases required
• Robotics proficiency, especially in urology, required
• Community hospital experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Perform both scrub and circulate duties based on departmental needs
• Support surgical teams during trauma, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, podiatry, general, and robotic urology procedures
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Follow established perioperative, trauma, and patient safety protocols throughout each case
