Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care or emergency nursing setting
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and clinical priorities
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, skilled nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
• Respond confidently to urgent and emergent clinical situations
• Float as needed within the designated emergency care environment
• Maintain compliance with department protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
• Deliver compassionate care while supporting patients and families during high-stress situations
