Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Ability to work night shifts and support a collaborative care team
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a busy patient assignment
• Flexibility to adapt to a travel nursing assignment and unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care
• Support patients with wound care, IV therapy, and use of unit equipment
• Document care accurately in the EMR and maintain high standards of charting
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional presence and help support a safe, efficient hospital unit environment
