Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of current behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or mental health nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• CPI certification or Calm Every Storm certification accepted
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing patient acuity in an inpatient psychiatric setting

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult behavioral health and psychiatric patients
• Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient care needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safety and therapeutic treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established unit workflows
• Assist with patient education and therapeutic support in a structured inpatient environment
• Float to other adult inpatient behavioral health units as needed
