• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with telemetry competency
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing, cardiac, or acute care experience
• Ability to accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac medications, and IV drips preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Must be comfortable with floating based on unit needs; support roles may be assigned if floated outside core skillset

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms for patients with critical or life-threatening conditions
• Assess hemodynamic status and promptly recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips
• Support patients experiencing shock or other emergent cardiac complications
• Assist with emergency and elective cardioversion procedures
• Provide care for patients with temporary pacemakers as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Float to other units when needed while maintaining a patient-first approach
