Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Great Bend, Kansas

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 06:45-19:15
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirement: 2-3 on-call shifts per month
• Holiday Requirement: Rotational holidays

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Experience caring for pediatric patients and willingness to float to Med/Surg as needed
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Completion of an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring course within the past 24 months
• Commitment to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already current
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience and rural hospital experience preferred
• Nicotine-free facility compliance required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery
• Support laboring patients, postpartum recovery, and newborn care as appropriate
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to Med/Surg for overflow patients when needed
• Care for pediatric patients when assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, compassionate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards throughout the assignment
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
