ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Rapid Response Travel Assignment in Wichita, KS

Join a fast-paced ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate critical care RN with strong acute care experience to support a rapid response team in a high-acuity coronary care and intensive care unit. Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Strong critical care knowledge and comfort caring for high-acuity patients
  • Experience with Meditech preferred
  • Prior experience in a large-facility ICU preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a coronary care / ICU setting
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and cardioversion
  • Administer and titrate medication drips according to patient needs and unit protocols
  • Support central line care and other advanced critical care interventions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
  • Deliver safe, efficient, high-quality care in a demanding rapid response environment
