Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ACLS and PALS required
• CEN preferred
• Trauma experience or critical care experience preferred
• Strong basic nursing skills and sound clinical decision-making required
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced ER environment
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing patient needs and assignments
• Complete and clear screenings required prior to start
• All required Pennsylvania clearances must be completed and submitted before clearance
• Must be available to work weekends as part of the schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Level 1 Trauma setting
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Care for adult, pediatric, and other diverse patient populations in the emergency department
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective care
• Monitor patient status, respond quickly to changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Perform nursing interventions in accordance with Emergency Department protocols and best practices
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Support a patient-centered approach while helping the department run smoothly during varied shifts
