• Healthcare Setting: Acute care operating room
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 07/30/2026
• End Date: 10/29/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Call Coverage: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend of call
• Openings: 2
• Charting System: EPIC
• Medication System: Omnicell
• Orientation: 1 week on-unit orientation with virtual education

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
• Ability to support scheduled call coverage
• Experience with a broad surgical case mix preferred, including general surgery, ortho fractures and scopes, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced acute care OR environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to support safe patient outcomes
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Participate in call coverage and respond appropriately when assigned
• Follow unit workflows, policies, and patient safety standards
• Contribute to a smooth, patient-centered surgical experience from pre-op through recovery transition
