Job Details

• Position: Travel ER Registered Nurse / Emergency Department RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule Notes: Nights and weekends rotate; no call
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Location: Austin, TX 78758

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department or ER nursing experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years are strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current TNCC certification by start date
• Current ENPC certification by start date
• NIHSS certification
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive, patient-first mindset
• Experience in high-acuity emergency care and fast-paced clinical environments

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy emergency department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Support common ER procedures, including LPs, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the rest of the care team to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established ED protocols
• Anticipate patient and department needs while contributing to a positive team environment
• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare setting
