Job Details

• Position: PCU Registered Nurse
• Job Type: Travel RN / Contract Nursing Job
• Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Telemetry, Medicine Unit, Stepdown
• Location: Williamsburg, Virginia
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Start Date: August 31, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience in telemetry, PCU, stepdown, or a similar hospital setting
• Experience with tele patients and progressive care preferred
• Ability to work night shift nursing schedules and maintain strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• No ICU experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care to telemetry and PCU patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Promote a positive patient experience through attentive, professional nursing care
