• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Thornton, CO 80229
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, plus call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Call Requirement: Weeknight call from 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend call; approximately 7-9 shifts per month

Job Requirements

• Current RN license and eligibility to work in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Interventional Radiology RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Strong vascular access skills preferred, including PICC line or midline experience
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent critical thinking skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Interventional Radiology setting
• Assist with a variety of procedures including para/thora, LVO, FNA, midline, PICC line, kyphoplasty, and PE thrombectomy
• Support vascular access procedures, conscious sedation, and critical care needs
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately in a 1:1 care environment
• Collaborate with IR technologists, imaging staff, and physicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
• Contribute to a supportive team culture that values communication, reliability, and clinical excellence
