Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month based on department needs
• Holiday Requirement: None
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Previous travel nurse assignment experience required, including completion of at least one contract assignment
• BSN required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• High-volume, fast-paced emergency care experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician orders in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support efficient emergency department workflow
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic
• Respond effectively in high-volume emergency situations while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Participate fully in required orientation and onboarding activities
