Registered Nurse – Special Care Nursery Travel Assignment in Concord, New Hampshire

  • Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
  • Location: Concord, NH 03301
  • Unit Setting: Special Care Nursery / Level II SCN
  • Start Date: August 24, 2026

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 3-4 years of nursing experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of NICU or Special Care Nursery experience required
  • Previous experience in a Level II SCN or NICU setting required
  • Postpartum experience preferred, but not required
  • Comfort working night shifts and supporting a newborn care team
  • Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled neonatal nursing care for newborns in a Special Care Nursery setting
  • Assist with deliveries, including vaginal births and cesarean sections when needed
  • Support newborns requiring IV starts, CPAP, tube feedings, and other specialized newborn care
  • Care for grower-feeder infants and support babies experiencing withdrawal or feeding challenges
  • Float to postpartum or pediatrics when needed, based on experience and comfort level
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, high-quality patient care
