- Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with some scheduling at 48 hours per week depending on unit needs; every other weekend rotation
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
- Location: Springfield, IL 62769
Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Experience caring for cardiac, medical ICU, and surgical ICU patients preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced critical care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to cardiac intensive care patients
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from open heart surgery and other complex procedures
- Support medical ICU and surgical ICU patients with changing clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe patient outcomes
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold critical care nursing standards throughout each shift
