• Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
• Specialty: ICU / Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with some scheduling at 48 hours per week depending on unit needs; every other weekend rotation
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Location: Springfield, IL 62769

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Experience caring for cardiac, medical ICU, and surgical ICU patients preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to cardiac intensive care patients
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from open heart surgery and other complex procedures
• Support medical ICU and surgical ICU patients with changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold critical care nursing standards throughout each shift
