• Shift: 12-hour nights, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Location: Longview, TX 75601 - a welcoming East Texas location for your next travel assignment.

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience or related acute care clinical specialty required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Current PALS certification (AHA)
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to complete orientation, competency validation, and ongoing annual requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Provide routine and complex care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate ED protocols and best practices
• Monitor patient response for treatment effectiveness and potential side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, interventions, and care provided in the electronic health record
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on care plans, discharge instructions, and available resources
• Work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team and making appropriate assignments when needed
