• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float to all acute care units
• Orientation: Comprehensive onboarding and Epic training provided

Job Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips strongly preferred
• Experience with TR bands and post-procedure care preferred
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred
• Comfort working in an acute care hospital environment with changing priorities
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to telemetry patients with cardiac monitoring needs
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care throughout the shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage cardiac infusions according to unit standards
• Support patients recovering from procedures and transitions of care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to other acute care nursing units as needed based on patient care needs
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain a safe, efficient workflow
