• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,600 - $3,790
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• End Date: 1/9/2027
• Duration: 17 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Pattern: Primarily weekdays, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• Active New York State RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• CNOR certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience assisting in complex cardiac surgical settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a high-acuity surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with chest exposure and closure during cardiac procedures
• Independently perform vein harvesting for CABG cases
• Support complex cardiac surgeries, including CABGs, structural heart cases, minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure cases
• Contribute to safe, efficient patient flow in a fast-paced operating room setting
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Assist with scrubbing and circulating cardiac cases when needed and based on experience
• Participate in on-call coverage according to unit needs
