Job Details

• Location: Hagerstown, MD 21742
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN
• Setting: Busy Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Weekend coverage required; expect some holidays and weekends
• Orientation: Included during onboarding

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency room setting
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations across the lifespan
• Flexibility to rotate weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients with varying acuity levels
• Triage patients and prioritize care in a high-volume, fast-moving ER environment
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and effectively
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other emergency nursing interventions as ordered
• Support patients with trauma, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, and other urgent and emergent needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and efficiency
