• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needs
• Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a related nursing specialty
• Current telemetry monitoring and telemetry interpretation experience
• Experience with Epic EHR charting required
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
• Support patients with a variety of oncology-related medical-surgical diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices closely
• Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed to support staffing needs
