Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse – Float Pool / Med-Surg Telemetry in Salem, Massachusetts

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Rotating days, evenings, and nights with every other weekend coverage
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location
• 2 years of travel nurse experience preferred/required for this role
• Telemetry nursing experience, including measuring intervals and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• TR Band experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a float pool environment and adapt quickly to multiple units
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and bedside nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Float between multiple Med-Surg Telemetry units and related hospital departments
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Manage cardiac drips and support patients requiring telemetry-level nursing care
• Care for ED border patients, acute mental health medication patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Use sound clinical judgment while adapting to changing patient needs and unit priorities
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow hospital policies and procedures
