Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience
• 18 combined months of permanent experience in the specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications in hand
• Epic experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• Compliance with pre-start onboarding and required facility modules

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acuity levels
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a busy Emergency Department
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately in Epic
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
• Support safe, efficient throughput and patient flow in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication throughout the travel nursing assignment
